I'm of the opinion that no one should ever have to experience life alone.  I also believe that life is one great adventure.  There are unexpected turns and trials.  There are times when life just comes to one screeching halt.  Of course it's not always that way.  Many times life is full of wonderful surprises that bring natural joy to us.  But regardless of our days' outcome there is one thing we can be sure of: each day was a gift from God.

All My Love for All My Days is a blog about learning to love and loving the journey.  It's also about find hope and encouragement and strength.  And maybe even some inspiration.  You might find that she is full of eclectic little pieces of information that don't seem to belong such as a crafting tutorial or a recipe, but I think they do belong and here's why.  Life, at least for the woman, is never just one thing.  We are never just a mom or a doctor or a professional or a crafter.  We are all these things and so many more at one time.  And that's the way it should be.  Life should be full, constantly moving, never standing still.

Ann Voskamp says this, "You only live a full life when you live fully in the moment."

That's the way I want to live.  That's the way I want us to live.  Right here.  Right now.  Love flowing into us from God and out of us onto the people around us.

  • Our relationship with God is paramount to all others.  He is the source of life, light, hope.  The author of our existence and the lover of our souls.

  • Our community (family, friends, church, city, state, world) is our greatest place of impact.  We become more like Christ when are deeply committed to our community.

  • Our walk is the ultimate map.  As we follow Christ our community follows us.  We point people to the love of Christ best through our walk.

  • Danette Dillon is the founder of All My Love for All My Day.  She is currently serving as Worship Arts Pastor at CrossPoint in Sand Springs, Oklahoma.  She says this about herself:

Jesus is my everything.  I love my family, my friends, and my dog, Jackson. I believe in living an integrated life.  No part of our humanity should be separated by a room, office, or closet.  I believe that we might as well be honest with each other and tell the truth in love.  I live to pursue the presence of God and to see Him rock other people's worlds.  I vehemently believe that God is love and that He loves you.  I desire to bring God's justice and truth to this world.  I love having fun...tons of fun.  I'm a coffee drinker and my heart belongs in Paris.
