Summer To Do List

1.  See Moonrise Kingdom pronto

2.  Pay off two credit cards...
...because I should have already done it.

3.  Lose twenty pounds while continue my Vegetarian is the Way process.  (You can read more about that here.)

4.  Launch the Blue Jay Boutique online.  The Blue Jay Boutique is my artistic release.  I like to make vintage inspired crafts and restore vintage dishes.  (You can read more about that here.)

5.  Finish redecorating me room.  That means curtains, blinds, artwork, and cleaning out the clutter.  Pictures to follow, I'm sure.

6.  Take several small day trips to places like Eureka Springs, Arkansas, Fort Smith, Arkansas, & Springfield, Missouri.  I love these towns so much.

7.  Spend a significant amount of time investing in this blog and it's community.  I'm enjoying meeting new people.  Right now I'm in the planning stages of a blogger get together in Tulsa.  If you know of any bloggers that might want to be a part email me.

Do you have any small summer goals you'd like to share?

  1. hello hello! i found your blog through clara :) what awesome summer goals! i'm excited to see what you think and how you feel with the 'vegetarian is the way' process and the blogger get together. i have always thought that would be so much fun someday!
blessings to you on your monday :)!!

  2. This is the first I've heard of this looks hilarious!

Also, once you pay off your two cards, come on over. I have one that needs a little help too! ;)

    1. Hahaha. After I pay off those I've got some more to work on. :) College can kill a girl, you know.

  3. I wish I was in Tulsa-I'd totally go. Can't wait to see your shop : )

    1. ;( I wish you were here too. Oh well. Thanks for the encouragement of the shop. That's going to be a chore.

  4. Fun list! Newest GFC follower from hop. Love for you to stop by and return the follow when you can. Hosting a facebook hop now. Love to have you!

  5. Wow these are a lot of goals. I had never even heard of this movie until today.

A day trip you may be interested in in Arkansas, but not as far away as Ft. Smith or Eureka may be the Arkansas Missouri Railroad. You get on the train in Springdale and it goes to Van Buren, where you get to stop and shop in historical downtown, then it returns to Springdale in the evening. The price is varied depending on what kind of luxury you want.We really want to ride it this summer, but may wait until next year when Aria is a little older.
